About Me

Hello!

My name is Stephanie, and I am a Graphic Design major at the Art Institute of St Louis. After about 5 years of working in the salon industry in Chicago, I moved to St Louis and started a family. I worked as an administrative assistant before deciding to finally follow my dreams of becoming a graphic designer, and I have literally never been more satisfied.

Graphic design, and art in all forms, has been a prevalent force in my life. Both of my parents are extremely creative, my father is a creative director and an artist, and my mother is a jewelry designer. Growing up, I have always loved drawing, painting, and just creating in whatever shape or form I can. Once my family got our first computer, I fell completely in love with making fake websites, and playing around with clip art. I guess thats where it all started, now at the age of 29, I am always either making something in Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign. 

Going back to school to become a designer is definitely the best decision I have ever made. I love what I do, and I cannot wait to embark on a long, and fulfilling career as a Graphic Designer.
